My objective in life is to create good, happy, fulfilling experiences and memories for myself and everyone I interact with.
Show love. Be kind. Lead with empathy. Respond thoughtfully.
Make people feel loved. Show kindness. Lead with empathy, listen well, respond with kindness and thoughtfulness. Act towards others with the realization that every human is experiencing life with the same depth and complexity as you are.
Be transparent and honest
Share openly. Speak truthfully. Don’t hide things from others.
Take care of yourself
Reflect, do therapy, move & exercise, do fulfilling work, do fulfilling hobbies, do nothing sometimes. Find balance. Find a healthy way to live and be happy, and continue spending time on that pursuit.
Do the right thing
Make the hard decision if needed, but do what’s right, what’s needed, what’s good.
Be fun and playful
Life is more fun when you’re being playful and fun and affectionate and silly. Some people take well to it, and those are likely the people you will attract and align with.
Be genuine
Speak, act, and live in a sincere and authentic way. Be free of pretense. No politics, no BS.
Be open-minded
Truly absorb and consider other viewpoints, options, etc. Don’t assume you know. Remember certainty is a neurochemically-powered emotion, not just reason.
Constantly learn, improve, grow, and evolve
Find wonder in life. Grow and evolve as a human. Be better when you can be.
Over-communicate
Communicate fully. Share context. State assumptions, don’t assume others know.
Get context
You can do a better job if you know more. Don’t assume you know, ask or look it up.
Don’t be afraid to commit
Spend more time and energy on things that are fulfilling. Don’t feel you need to do a little of everything; commit to some things more deeply.
